I take your right to privacy very seriously. To ensure a secure connection, I use the video conferencing software within Simple Practice which is HIPPA compliant. This means that your sessions are encrypted to ensure your privacy.

Is online counseling effective?

Research shows that online counseling is an effective means for helping clients meet their goals and improve their quality of life. How long will I be in therapy?

The length of therapy varies depending on the you and your specific needs. Therapy is most effective when we meet weekly and can move to bi-weekly appointments as you feel that you are seeing positive changes and are actively meeting your goals. With that being said, I tend to see clients for an average of 15 sessions.

What is the cost of therapy?

My current rates are $90 for 50-60min sessions and $115 for the initial evaluation session which last about 1.5 hours. Right now, I am accepting clients who are self-pay only.
